Cookies

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a site. They can remember a choice or help a host understand which pages were opened.

How we use them

Essential cookies (or local storage) remember whether you accepted or rejected optional cookies so the banner does not nag on every page. That storage is required for the banner to work; rejecting analytics does not block readouts, journal pages, or the contact form.

If you accept, we may set a simple analytics cookie to see which pages are read. If you reject, we do not set that analytics cookie.

We do not currently load third-party advertising cookies. Fonts are requested from Google Fonts; that request may allow Google to see your IP address. See Privacy for how we think about transfers.

Managing cookies

Use Accept or Reject on the banner. You can also clear cookies and site data in your browser. Disabling all cookies may forget your banner choice and show the banner again; it will not stop you from reading services, rates, or the journal, and it will not stop the contact form.

Third parties

If we add a hosted analytics or map later, this table will name it. Until then, treat Google Fonts as the only common third-party request on page load.
